Moments Matter 💫

Hi friends, Last month we celebrated our angel baby, Finley’s, second birthday. Emotions always seem to surface stronger leading up to his day. As a grieving mama, I often find myself trying to find the purpose in our journey. During my quiet time early in the month, God reminded me that I fervently prayed that I would choose to be present in my interactions with those around me for several years. With technology at my fingertips, it was easy to find distractions with my family. I know I can learn so much about those around me when I simply lean in to the present time. Reflecting on our pregnancy loss I can truly see how the journey has changed the trajectory of our life. I am reminded that our experience with loss showed me that the moments matter. Big or small, good or bad, every single moment matters. It matters because these moments carry so much information about our hearts, our emotions, our thoughts, our dreams. These moments are who we are - they are all that we are. Each moment encapsulates everything we know that makes us, us. We can learn to let our past moments go, in order to let the present moments foster growth or an opportunity to learn. Moments matter.
