God owns the losses and the triumphs 🌟

Hi friends, Early on in the year I had my son help me with the sign board that hangs in our house. He is six and I thought building words and letter recognition would be a win win situation. Normally, we change it out for birthdays and seasons. This time I found a coloring page that my daughter left out with Psalm 24:1. The simplicity of the verse and the power behind it made me want to see it on a daily basis. “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it.” Psalm 24:1 With the complexity of this year, I find myself feeling silenced by this verse. Mad at this verse and even annoyed. I leave it up and ponder on it often because it is truth. The weight of the world fluctuates but the word of God stands firm forever. We have been forced to stay in our homes because of this pandemic and we have had more time to think and listen. I believe God has given us this time to give attention to worldly, national and local causes that have gone unnoticed for too long. When he stripped away our norm and set limitations, He empowered us to advocate. There is a time to be silent and a time to speak. I want to encourage you that whatever you are facing, whatever feels too big or too heavy, that God owns that moment. He owns the losses and the triumphs. He is in our midst. All my love,
