April showers bring ☔

Lullaby of Hope Box

Dear friends,

2012 holds my family’s greatest tragedies, from the two losses of my womb to the loss of my sister-in-law and her full term daughter, it was as if we were being pummeled like a rainstorm. At times we felt like we were drowning and it was hard to see through our tears, while other times we felt refreshed and even strengthened by being drenched in God’s sovereign plan.

"You heavens above, rain down my righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness flourish with it; I, the LORD, have created it.”
- Isaiah 45:8

Rainstorms hold compelling imagery for me. I think about how I need the right gear to weather the storm, how the earth sits still after being watered and how it causes new life to sprout. Rainstorms are almost always unwelcomed as they shift our plans, but the evidence of growth are sought after and treasured. Even though I would never be brave enough to ask for a refining rain, I found that through it all my faith grew deeper and more genuine. I find myself thankful for the rain.

April 21-27 is National Infertility Awareness Week and I want to invite you to join me in praying for the women and families affected by infertility. In a society that doesn’t value life, these couples often don’t receive help from insurance. As they endure years of procedures, medication and emotional highs and lows, they need to be surrounded by the love and empathy that we find in Christ.

This month we are offering free shipping on our Hope gift boxes, specifically designed for women journeying through infertility. Make sure that your loved one is equipped for the days ahead and that they know you are by their side.

In Love,
