In the Waiting

Mother’s Day is around the corner and if you have suffered the loss of a baby or yearn to be called “Mama”(or maybe you know someone who feels this way) the celebratory day could be classified to you as bittersweet. You are sad that your womb is empty, yet happy that your babe is with Jesus and that He is in control.

We can be nearsighted and want to rush God’s plan, but in the midst of our suffering He is at work. He is shaping our character, drawing us near, singing melodies over us, and providing our every need.

In the waiting your faith can grow in ways that wouldn’t have been achieved if you hadn’t endured such hardships. I encourage you to find ways to praise Him, even if Mother’s Day stings.

We are not meant to do life alone and there is a community of people ready to walk with you, hand in hand.
