The Journey Matters 💫

Hi Friends,

Last month we celebrated our angel baby, Finley’s, second birthday. Emotions always seem to surface stronger leading up to his day.  As a grieving mama, I often find myself trying to find the purpose in our journey.

During my quiet time early in the month, God reminded me that I fervently prayed that I would choose to be present in my interactions with those around me for several years.  With technology at my fingertips, it was easy to find distractions with my family.  I know that being in an intentional relationship with others fosters opportunities to connect and do life.

Reflecting on our pregnancy loss I can truly see how the journey has changed the trajectory of our life.  I am reminded that our experience with loss showed me that the journey has a purpose.  Big or small, good or bad, this journey we are on matters.  It matters because this grief journey isn’t meant to be done alone. We were not made for the brokenness of the world. We were made to look to our Father for hope.  Through Him, we grow in our understanding of His purpose for our journey.

Whether you have experienced pregnancy loss, loss of a loved one, loss of “the norm,” grief is a journey.  I encourage you to reach out to someone in your “bubble” who will journey life with you.

We are grateful to have you a part of our community!
